Claire Wingfield, TB/HIV Project Coordinator Claire comes to TAG with over 12 years experience along the continuum of HIV/AIDS care and services having worked in New York City, San Francisco, and Washington, DC. She spent the early part of her career working in direct services providing education, advocacy, and case management to persons living with and at-risk for HIV/AIDS. In 1998 she began focusing on HIV treatment education, much of this work involved community organizing, training development, and providing technical assistance both domestically and internationally on HIV/AIDS prevention, care and treatment, and co-morbidities. For the past two years, Claire has been working on a variety of international health and development projects including identifying evidence-based best practices for HIV/AIDS prevention, care, and treatment; integration of family planning and HIV/AIDS services in resource limited settings; and analyses of social, cultural, economic, and political factors that increase women's vulnerability to HIV infection and disease progression. | ||
